1975 Señora Enrique asked me to lead and
teach what I had learned from Jefe Florencio

Under
the orders of Florencio, I went to Mexico City
to receive the title of Capitán (traditional
leader) of my own palabra (dance circle): Dec.
12, 1980. This was the beginning of DANZA
MEXI'CAYOTL.

1987,
Our dance circle incorporates as the California
Non-Profit Coproration "The
Mexi'cayotl Indio Cultural Center."
We dedicate ourselves to "teach and preserve the Native American Heritage
of the southwestern United States and Mexico."
1992
Our cultural center receives IRS 501(c)(3) status
from the IRS!
